A Stream Team supported by Mass. Riverways & SuAsCo Community Council; formed in the late 90's to provide stewardship for River Meadow Brook-- located in Middlesex County Massachusetts-- a waterway roughly 6 miles in length that passes through the towns of Carlisle, Chelmsford, Lowell and feeds a series of historic mill ponds and conservation areas. While some stretches remain pristine, several downstream runs are impacted by trash, run-off contamination and need assessment & clean-ups. Efforts continue to ensure safe drinking water, recreation and rare wildlife habitat. Join us!
